About
John Olichney is a board-certified behavioral neurologist who specializes in diagnosis, treatment and study of cognitive disorders and neurodegenerative diseases that typically are associated with aging. He is the clinical core director of the UC Davis Alzheimer's Disease Center.
Research Focus
Dr. Olichney conducts research examining the mechanisms of language and memory using neuroimaging techniques. His laboratory is developing electrophysiological and neuroimaging techniques sensitive to the memory and language impairments that are characteristic of Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative disorders.
