Directions from the City of Sacramento and the Sacramento Airport

The Center for Mind and Brain is a 15-minute drive from downtown Sacramento and about 30 minutes from Sacramento International Airport.

Offices and laboratories of the Center for Mind and Brain are housed in two buildings on Cousteau Place, in the Mace Ranch Business Park, approximately 2 miles east of the main UC Davis campus.

FROM SACRAMENTO

  • Take I-80 westbound (toward San Francisco)
  • Exit at Mace Boulevard in Davis
  • At the top of the offramp, turn right (northbound) onto Mace Boulevard
  • At the next traffic signal, turn left onto Second Street
  • Drive 1 mile westbound on Second Street
  • Turn right onto Cousteau Place

FROM SACRAMENTO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

  • Take Interstate 5 northbound (toward Woodland and Redding) and proceed 7 miles
  • In Woodland, exit at County Road 102
  • Turn left (southbound) onto County Road 102 and proceed 8.8 miles into Davis
  • Turn left (eastbound) onto Fifth Street (intersection with traffic signal) and proceed about 0.6 mile
  • Pass the Police Department and turn right (southbound) on Peña Drive (intersection with traffic signal)
  • Turn right (southbound) on Peña Drive
  • At the stop sign, turn left (eastbound) onto Second Street and proceed 0.2 mile
  • At Cousteau Place, turn left

Cousteau Place intersects with Second Street, the northern frontage road paralleling Interstate 80, approximately 1 mile West of the Target store.

One building (267 Cousteau Place, shown above) houses our administrative staff and several laboratories that focus on adults or adolescents. All deliveries should go to this building. The other building (202 Cousteau Place) houses most of the laboratories that focus on infants or children, along with a few adult labs.
