Presentation Renewal

Use this form to renew your Presentation licenses for 2009.

Our group license for Presentation is now due for renewal (on February 5, 2009). NBS grants us a 10 day grace period, so Presentation will continue to function under the current license until February 15, 2009.

NBS offers two licensing options, code activations and keys (USB dongles). The cost for a code activation is $108/year, and the cost for a key is $216/year. Code activations are locked to one computer for the entire license year (i.e., you can't move code activations around among computers). Keys can be moved between computers easily.

A table of the number of activations you currently have is available below. If you wish to continue using Presentation on any given computer after 2/5/2009, you MUST reactivate it under the new license.

If someone else in your lab will be taking over as license controller, please pass on this message (and refer them to the section at the bottom explaining how to join the UCD group).

DaFIS Account (Required)

Please specify the DaFIS account to charge for new or replacement keys. New or replacement keys cost $9. If you have returned previous keys that can be used for this request, the account will not be charged. The account MUST be a full, valid DaFIS account. DaFIS account numbers take the form of X-YYYYYYY-ZZZZZ, where X is the Chart of Accounts (usually 3 for UCD and S for UCDHS accounts), YYYYYYY is a 7-character account number, and ZZZZZ is an OPTIONAL 5-character subaccount number. If you are unsure of the account number, please check with your staff account manager.

If you are not on the list above but wish to join in this group purchase, you will need to do the following:

1. Visit the NBS website: http://nbs.neuro-bs.com/
2. From the navigation menu on the left, go to Account->Join.
3. Choose the "Join Group" option to become part of the UCD licensing group.
4. The group name and password are (including space in the group name):

5. Fill in your user information.
6. Once you have completed the registration process, fill out and submit the form above.
