Dr. Mangun elected Fellow of the Association of Psychological Science

Dr. Ron Mangun, the Director of the Center for Mind and Brain has been elected a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science (APS).

The Association for Psychological Science (previously the American Psychological Society) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of scientific psychology and its representation at the national and international level. Approximately 18,000 scientists and clinicians are members of the society. Fellow status is awarded to APS Members who have made sustained outstanding contributions to the science of psychology in the areas of research, teaching, and service. Dr. Mangun was recognized for his studies of brain attention mechanisms and his international efforts in training young scientists and disseminating scientific knowledge.
