Dr. Joy Geng to join CMB faculty
Dr. Joy Geng has accepted a position in the CMB as an Assistant Professor of Psychology effective July, 1, 2008.
She is an expert on studies of perception, attention and visual cognition, having trained at Cornell University, Carnegie Mellon University, and University College London. Her work ranges from studies in patients with brain damage leading to attention deficits to functional MRI studies of perception, eye movements and attention.
Dr. Geng will develop her laboratory in the 267 Cousteau facility where she will develop a behavioral and eye-tracking laboratory. Her functional imaging research will be conducted at the UC Davis Imaging Research Center.
