Laboratory for Language and Neurological Disorders (Dr. Kathleen Baynes) by Kathleen Baynes — last modified 2009-11-20 01:30 AM

Cognitive Neurolinguistic Research Lab (Dr. David Corina) by David Corina — last modified 2008-10-28 10:03 AM
The Corina Cognitive Neurolinguistics Research Laboratory is dedicated to understanding the processes of perceiving and producing signed and spoken languages.
Geng Lab (Dr. Joy Geng) by Joy Geng — last modified 2009-03-04 12:41 AM
Research in the lab focuses on how goal-directed and sensory-driven information are integrated to determine what we perceive. The purpose of the work is to understand the mechanisms of selective attention that flexibly balance the ability to focus on a task of choice and sensitivity to external information.
Memory and Development Lab (Dr. Simona Ghetti) by Simona Ghetti — last modified 2008-04-13 03:32 AM
The main focus of our research concerns the development of memory and metamemory in childhood. Broadly, we address questions such as: What are the building blocks of the developing ability to encode, store, and retrieve episodic memories from one’s own past? How does the subjective experience of remembering develop? What are the mechanisms underlying the complementary ability to remember nonoccurrences (i.e., remember that events did not happen)?
Language Learning Lab (Dr. Katie Graf Estes) by Katharine Graf-Estes — last modified 2009-01-14 02:04 AM

Human Experiences and Affective Development Lab (Dr. Amanda Guyer) by Amanda E. Guyer — last modified 2009-11-19 06:10 AM

Healthy Emotions, Relationships & Development Lab (Dr. Paul Hastings) by Paul Hastings — last modified 2009-11-19 06:10 AM

Janata Lab (Dr. Petr Janata) by Petr Janata — last modified 2008-04-13 03:33 AM

Mind-Emotion Development Lab (Dr. Kristin Lagattuta) by Kristin Lagattuta — last modified 2007-11-17 12:23 AM
Research in our lab focuses on the development of young children's knowledge about people in terms of their inner, mental lives--what a person desires, intends, believes, thinks about, and feels emotionally.
Luck Lab (Dr. Steve Luck) by Steven J. Luck — last modified 2009-11-19 05:31 AM
The central goal of our laboratory's research program is to isolate and characterize the neural and cognitive mechanisms of visual attention and visual working memory. Our research on attention emphasizes the idea that attention is not a single mechanism, but is instead a type of mechanism that operates within different neurocognitive subsystems under different conditions. Our reseach on working memory emphasizes the interaction between representations and processes in visual working memory and the function of this memory system in the real-world visually guided behavior. In addition, our research addresses dysfunctions of attention and working memory in psychiatric and neurological disorders.
Laboratory for the Neural Mechanisms of Attention (Dr. Ron Mangun) by Ron Mangun — last modified 2008-04-13 03:31 AM
The lab is dedicated to understanding how the brain permits individuals to focus attention and awareness on the most relevant information in the complex and ever-changing world around us. This ability is known as selective attention.
Auditory Neuroscience and Speech Recognition Lab (Dr. Lee Miller) by Lee Miller — last modified 2009-11-20 01:38 AM
Our research is focused on understanding the neural bases of speech perception, especially in noisy environments. We study mechanisms of acoustic processing, audiovisual integration, and top-down inference in both normal listeners and those with hearing loss.
Infant Cognition Lab (Dr. Lisa Oakes) by Lisa Oakes — last modified 2008-04-13 02:26 AM

Cognitive Electrophysiology and Neuroimaging Lab (Dr. John Olichney) by John Olichney — last modified 2007-11-17 12:24 AM
The Cognitive Electrophysiology and Neuroimaging (CEAN) laboratory of John Olichney, M.D. (Associate Professor of Neurology, UC Davis School of Medicine) in the Center for Mind and Brain is developing electrophysiological and neuroimaging techniques sensitive to the memory and language impairments characteristic of neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease (AD).
Neurocognitive Development Lab (Dr. Susan Rivera) by Susan M. Rivera — last modified 2008-10-24 02:19 AM
We study neurocognitive development in typical development as well as in atypically developing populations including autism, fragile X syndrome, and Down syndrome. Our laboratory uses behavioral, eye-tracking and neuroimaging techniques to investigate the development of dorsal vs. ventral visual processing, object representation, numerical cognition and affective processing.
Saron Lab (Dr. Clifford Saron) by Clifford Saron — last modified 2009-11-20 02:30 AM

Laboratory for Cognitive Neuroscience of Language (Dr. Tamara Swaab) by Tamara Swaab — last modified 2009-11-19 05:32 AM
The main goal of our research program is to study the cognitive and neural architectures of normal language comprehension.
Vision and Action Lab (Dr. David Whitney) by David Whitney — last modified 2009-10-22 10:15 AM
Welcome to the Laboratory for Vision & Action. We study visual and visuomotor localization, with the goal of understanding the perceptual, cognitive, and neural mechanisms that allow humans to perceive and interact with objects in a dynamic world.
Human Memory Research Lab (Dr. Andy Yonelinas) by Andy Yonelinas — last modified 2008-04-13 03:35 AM

Affiliated Labs by Jeremy M. Phillips — last modified 2009-06-24 06:50 AM
